Scope and Contents
The Inauguration of Lyndon B. Johnson was opened with the musical number Stars and Stripes Forever preformed by the U.S Marine Core Band and the Tabernacle Choir. This was followed by an Invocation by Reverend George R. Davis. After the Chief Justice Earl Warren administered the Oath of Office to Lyndon B. Johnson, President Johnson spoke of justice, liberty, the Union in his Inaugural Address.
