Scope and Contents
Barry Goldwater announces to the public that he will seek the republican presidential nomination for two main reasons; his personal beliefs coincide with millions of other Americans and there where no other republican candidates with a declaration of conscience or political position that would offer the American people a clear choice. He then takes questions from the media. These questions all reveal his stance on both foreign and domestic policy.
