Scope and Contents

This narrated film is about a computer simulation of a sonar projector transducer. The film presents a sequence of computer-generated images that describe a mathematical model used to predict the normal modes of vibration. Credits: Produced by Computer Science Division, University of Utah and Naval Ships System Command. Finite element analysis by Larry Gwin of Standford University.
