Scope and Contents

Exhibits a computer program that simulates landing a plane on an aircraft carrier. Includes a version that displays simultaneous views through left and front windows. Also shows live action, black and white footage of the computer system and a man controlling the program with a tablet and stylus. Credits: Equipment used in simulation is an Evans & Sutherland LDS-1 graphic display system connected to a PDP-10 computer manufactured by Digital Equipment Corporation.
