  2. 3: Intrepid--As a firm acrophobiast who wants no further off the ground than he can jump, Burt Reynolds, as movie actor Buck Greenway, is persuaded to portray a balloonist a country fair in the Columbia Pictures of director Peter Bogdanovich's "Nickelodeon, ' a laugh-laden and touching "slapstick drama" of the pioneer days of silent films.
  3. 4: Camera Truck--There is little similarity between this early-day version of a camera truck and today's pneumatic. smooth-rolling movie vehicles. The group films a silent movie.
  4. 5: Enthralled--Burt Reynolds, Jane Hitchcock and Ryan O'Neal view the Nickelodeon showing of a film they have made and are startled to see how it's been altered in the cutting room.
  5. 6: Biting Welcome--Detraining in Cucamonga, California for his silent film directing bow, Ryan O'Neal gets a leg pulled by an unfriendly native. O'Neal stars as an unsuccessful attorney who becomes a screenwriter-director in "Nickelodeon."
  6. 7: Spokesman--A disgruntled sextet of early movie makers had Ryan O'Neal voicing his vocal objections to the tricks played on them by the head of a silent film studio. Pictured L to R are Tatrum O'Neal, john Ritter, Burt Reynolds, Jane Hitchcock, Ryan O'Neal and Stella Stevens.
