Parkin, Conflict at Kirtland (Salt Lake City, 1966), and Francis Michael Darter, "The Origin of the Temple Veil" (lecture, November, 1955). There is also a complete copy of James C. Bilderback, "Masonry and Mormonism, Nauvoo, Illinois, 1841-1847" (Master's thesis, State University of Iowa, 1937).
