- 1: Isaac Russell, born in Salt Lake City on Dec. 14, 1879. At age 18 founded "The American Soldier," a serviceman's newspaper, in the Philippine Islands during the Spanish American War.
- 2: Isaac Russell as businessman and publisher in the Philippine Islands following the Spanish American War.
- 3: Isaac was a reporter for the New York Times. Isaac worked on the article regarding the sinking of the Titanic with Marconi, the inventor of the wireless telegraph. This article won honors for him.
- 4: Samuel Russell, Lucy Russell, and Isaac Russell.
