Scope and Contents
- 1-6: Mr. Wiss sitting on the gravestone of Reverend John Sexsmith. Mr. Wiss is the great grand-nephew of the Reverend. After leaving the LDS Church, Oliver Cowdery was associated with Reverend Sexsmith’s Methodist church in Missouri, and when he died in 1850, Sexsmith oversaw his burial.
- 7: Gravestone of Hannah Downs, Southwest City, MO; Dec. 23, 1846 - September 9, 1906. Hannah Downs was the housekeeper for Dr. Charles Johnson, a son-in-law of Oliver Cowdery.
- 8: Gravestone of Dr. Charles Johnson, Southwest City, Missouri. Dr. Charles Johnson married Mary Louise Cowdery, daughter of Oliver.
- 9: Southwest City Cemetery, MO
- 10: Gravestones of Mary Louise (nee Cowdery) Johnson, wife of Dr. Charles Johnson and daughter of Oliver Cowdery. And E. A. Cowdery was the wife of Oliver Cowdery, Southwest City, Missouri.
