Postcards from various missionaries and locations

 Series

Scope and Contents

From the Collection: This collection consists of 171, 3x5, black and white postcards sent or retained by LDS missionaries between circa 1904 and the 1930s. These postcards display individual portraits, formal group portraits, and a wide variety of candid and snapshot photographs. About half of the postcards have correspondence written on the back, though very few have stamps attached. The majority of the postcards are either signed by the missionaries who are pictured on the postcard, or have the names and mailing addresses of the recipients of the postcards included. The main body of the postcard collection is in good condition.
