Material in this category falls mainly in the period 1918-1929 when Adams was working in the summers as a Drainage Assistant for the U. S. D. A. He worked on various projects in Utah, and visited a number of other projects in the west. The final result of his studies was his paper, "The Drainage of Irrigated Lands In Utah," written in 1929. His notes on Uintah Basin stream flow were completed later and were partly associated with his "Reports on Discharge from Uintah Mountain Stream"-1941.
