Scope and Contents
This folder includes an account that describes Murdoch's journey to Utah from Scotland in 1852, the Utah War, his imprisonment for polygamy, and other events in his life. The account also describes the deaths of his mother and brother-in-law as they traveled to Utah with a handcart company in 1856.
