Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Herbert S. Auerbach papers (1843-2001) consists of two parts. The first part (boxes 1-3) consists of personal materials including correspondence between Auerbach family members, hand-written music and poems, and personal items including wallets and stationaries. Box 2 also contains Herbert S. Auerbach's Senate Journal and other senate materials. The second part of the collection (boxes 4-15) includes buisiness records and materials of the Auerbach Company and the Auerbach Realty Company. In these boxes mortgage, loans, construction, insurance, legal contracts and correspondence can be found. The Auerbach company materials also includes materials from the Auerbach Department Store in downtown Salt Lake City including shopping catalogues and and pamplets.

Twenty-four hour advanced notice encouraged. Materials must be used on-site. Access to parts of this Collection may be restricted under provisions of state or federal law.
