H. C. Neuffer, "Design and Construction of the Coolidge Dam, San Carlos Project, Arizona", 1930

 File — Box: 1, Folder: 3-6

Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Milton Roswell Trenam papers (1925-1932) consist mostly of research reports for the Coolidge Dam irrigation project on the San Carlos Indian Reservation, Gila County, Arizona. This project was "conceived by the friends of the Indian and authorized by Congress to render a majority of moral, as well as legal, justice to some five thousand Indians on the Gila River who [had] been deprived of their water by the encroachment of white water users residing farther up the stream." The collection also contains an announcement featuring Roy Rogers, who dedicated the Coolidge Dam.
