The Elbert Dansie papers are a color copied collection of the history of his family. The first part of the collection is a celebration of the one hundred years of the Dansie family in Riverton, Utah. It includes a newspaper article about the centennial of the house built by George Dansie (1866-1932) and his wife Sarah Dansie (1868-1925), the parents of the current owner, Elroy Dansie. It also contains a copy of the book Robert Dansie, Devoted Pioneer Father, Faithful Latter-day Saint by Julian LeGrande Dansie. Robert Dansie (1825-1896) a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, moved his family from Boxford, England, to the Salt Lake Valley in 1862. The book is a family published record of his life.
