The Ralph Bassett Wright papers contain materials pertaining to Wright's (1903-1997) career as a real estate appraiser, senior vice president of First Security Bank, and president of Union Bank and Trust. In addition, there are some scattered personal papers, including correspondence, financial documents, news clippings, and scrapbook material. The appraisal files contain material used to calculate property value as well as the actual appraisal. In many cases, these files contain photographs of property. Appraisal files are arranged in rough chronological order, and folder titles reflect the property address. Files entitled "Market Data" typically contain news clippings, notes, articles, pamphlets, and statistical information.
