Diaries, 1898-1900

 File — Box: 20
Identifier: III

Scope and Contents

From the Series: This entire series consists of photocopies made from microfilm of the materials listed. The copies parallel the original microfilm reels in arrangement. There are some instances where the original documents were damaged or simply unreadable, thus making poor quality copies. The diaries, spanning boxes 7 to 23, not only contain day-to-day accounts, but may also contain notes and financial information. For example, folder 4 of box 7 also includes a history of the priesthood. Most of the dates listed for the diaries are correct but others are approximate because Teasdale overlapped dates in several of his diaries. The same holds true for the letterpress books located in boxes 24 through 28. These books are in basic chronological order, but individual letters may be misplaced, as they are on the original microfilm. They have been left in that state to maintain the page number order of the books. For the most part, each letterpress book contains lists of names and other information at the beginning of the book, before the actual letters. All of this information has been copied but only the letters are listed in this inventory. Names listed are as correct as possible. Some letter fragments can be found in the books and were listed where possible. NO PHOTOCOPYING OF MATERIAL IN BOXES 7-31.
