These are photocopies of letters that have pro and anti-Mormon sentiment and are addressed to President Rutherford B. Hayes. The letters are from George L. Woods, James Hutchins, George Q. Cannon, T. B. H. Stenhouse, Ann Eliza Young, George W. Carnes, Ellen Schwitzgabel, W. C. Burchard, John T. Morgan, J. B. Neil, Mrs. J. K. Barney, Eli H. Murray, H. W. Lawrence, John A. Hunter, L. W. Phelan, William Jarman, Stanley Matthews, George W. Emery, Robert G. McNiece, E. H. Parsons, Anna C. Park, Barbour Lewis, and D. R. Austin.
