Garland Stern, "In-Betweening by Computer, " Thesis Proposal
File — Box: 141, Folder: 29
Identifier: IX
Scope and Contents
From the Sub-Series:
Folders 1-19 contain materials relating to computer or electrical engineering activities at other universities, besides the University of Utah and Brigham Young University, which do not reveal a business relationship with Evans & Sutherland. Some of these institutions did have a business relationship with Evans & Sutherland, and the relevant items are located in Section V of the collection. Folders 20-29 contain drafts and proposals for theses and dissertations written by graduate students, while the last three folders in this box contain papers written by students that may or may not be connected with graduate work and unidentified research proposals. It is unclear whether or not Evans was involved with all of these students or their graduate work.
