I stepped out of the door I could see by their looks that something was wrong they both looked so sad. ... I burst into tears. I felt that it was too hard. Oh, my poor Sister E. in her touching letter she says, 'I am so lonesome no baby to love.' Poor girl, how my heart aches for her and poor Papa to see his grief seems more than I can bear."
