From the Sub-Series: This subseries contain typescripts for a book by Ghiselin, originally titled The Light of Imagination, but subsequently changed to Creativity and the Cultural Order. The manuscript is not dated, but most of the material appears to have been revised around 1978. Dates given here are dates of revision. Earlier versions of the majority of these essays, along with some worksheets, can be found in other sections of the collection. This subseries contains correspondence with the person named in the folder title, as well as research or notes in many cases.

Twenty-four hour advanced notice encouraged. Materials must be used on-site. Access to parts of this collection may be restricted under provisions of state or federal law.

Some original items have been removed and placed in Reserve. Access must be given by the Manuscripts Curator and by appointment. An archivist must remain with the items if being used. Photocopies are available in the collection for research use.
