From the Series: This portion of the collection contains the personal materials of Maurice and Lucy Abravanel. The first two boxes contain biographical information, contracts, and other materials illustrating the events that helped shape Abravanel as a musician and conductor. Of particular interest are the interviews conducted with Abravanel during the later years of his life. They are colorful, informative interviews which give some insight into the maestro's personal and professional life. Boxes five and six contain materials dealing with Lucy's personal life, as well as the lives of her children.
