From the Collection: The Utahns for Effective Government records (1970-1975) holds documents regarding this private organization composed of prominent citizens and public officials (organized 1970), the purpose of which was the improvement of local government. Included are meeting minutes, news articles written about the group's activities, correspondence from citizens who had responded to a campaign inviting public input about problems facing Utah, and documents produced by the organization's comittees and task forces.
