The Edith Leroy Richardson papers (1883-1971) is comprised of two scrapbooks, nursing certificates, and other documents pertaining to and/or collected by Richardson (1881-1977), a professional nurse who was also a granddaughter of Chief Tintic of the Uintah Utes. The first scrapbook contains Richardson's personal materials along with booklets from the Business and Professional Women's Club, Ensign Chapter. Also in this scrapbook are photographs of Edith and her mother, letters to the Office of Indian Affairs, love letters between Edith and Dr. E. A. Kusel, nursing awards and biographies of Edith and her mother Aldurah Kate Richardson. There are also small booklets and materials dealing with the Business and Professional Women's Club. The second scrapbook contains materials dealing with Native Americans, mostly in the form of news clippings, between 1938 and 1952.
