From the Collection: The John W. Fitzgerald papers (1967-1973) consist of writings by Fitzgerald (b. 1907), a member of the LDS Church who was excommunicated due to his views on African Americans and the priesthood. His writings are centered around the LDS Church, the priesthood, and his excommunication. The collection also contains an autobiography by Fitzgerald.
