From the File: The beginnings of an index to Eccles' Papers and related correspondence. Sidney Hyman, author of Eccles' biography, was hired by the Eccles family to complete an index of the papers, which had been aranged in volumes by Va Lois Egbert, Eccles' secretary while he worked in Washington. There was a significant dispute about the project between Hyman and Sallie Eccles, and he was asked to discontinue his work before the project was completed.
