Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Emma Kofler Helwing papers (1910-1956) include the life story of Emma Helwing (b. 1893), a scrapbook, personal documents, correspondence, and other items documenting her life and experiences of escape from Austria under the Nazi regime in 1938. Papers belonging to her husband, Sigmund Helwing, are also included.
