Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Tracy-Collins Bank and Trust Company records (1913-1987) contain letters, statements, news clippings, research, brochures, artwork, and other documents regarding the history, advertising, and general activities of this Utah bank. Drafts, galleys, and research materials for Leonard Arrington's history, "Tracy-Collins Bank and Trust: A Record of Responsibility" are located in boxes 1-2. Materials regarding the Meditation Chapel (a monument to all the Utah men that died in World War II), for which James W. Collins, bank president, was building committee chairman, is contained in box 3. Scrapbooks containing newspaper advertisements and articles regarding the bank that date from 1913 to 1983 are housed in boxes 4-11. Condition Reports of the different Utah Banks from 1916 through 1931 are in box 12. Lastly, advertising material for Tracy-Collins is contained in boxes 13-20.
