Scope and Contents

From the Sub-Series: In 1936 the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) established their own relief and welfare plan. This plan was organized under the direction of Heber J. Grant, president of the church, for the purpose of taking church members off federal relief rolls. Brimhall collected a great deal of material (mostly newspaper clippings) dealing with the Mormon Church Relief Plan.
