Scope and Contents
From the Collection:
The Karl C. Sandberg papers (1817-1996) consist of correspondence, meeting minutes, class handouts, articles, research notes, and newspaper clippings. Boxes 1-2 contain personal and business correspondence separated by topic and year. Information pertaining to Mormonism and Freemasonry can be found in boxes 3-10. Nineteenth century documents provided within these boxes are photocopies of original materials. Various research materials and typescripts of Sandberg's German and French texts are located in boxes 16-29. Boxes 30-54 contain class notes, articles, and handouts from classes taught by Sandberg. Boxes 31-38 and boxes 42-54 are alphabetically arranged. Box 55 contains photocopies of a minutebook from 1874-1876, and boxes 56-61 are a collection of research notes and personal notebooks. The remaining two boxes hold newspaper photocopies.

Twenty-four hour advanced notice encouraged. Materials must be used on-site. Access to parts of this collection may be restricted under provisions of state or federal law.
