These folder contain photocopied versions of original letter from 1834-1885. Some letters contain typescript copies. Letter are from Julia Priscilla Smith, Martha Jane Smith, Jesse Smith, Samuel P. Hoyt, Silas Smith, Joseph Fielding Smith, J. J. Fuller, Emily Jane Woodruff, and John Taylor.

The folders only contain a few orignial letters. Ten original letters have been removed and placed in Reserve. Photocopied versions are available in the collection for access purposes. Access to the originals must be given by the Manuscripts Curator and by appointment. An archivist must remain with the items if being used.
