Abraham Hoagland Cannon journals [copies]
The Abraham Hoagland Cannon journals [copies](1879-1895) consist of nineteen volumes which outline details about LDS Church council meetings and his service as a apostle, political meetings, and other important issues. He recorded business ventures which included stationary and furniture stores, real estate, mining, banking, railroads, and sugar manufacturing. Polygamy is a major theme throughout his journals as well. No photocopies can be made.
Heber J. Grant letters
The Heber J. Grant letters (1925, 1930) were written by Grant, then president of the LDS Church, to Oran Joseph Anderson regarding the Woodmen of the World Society and temple recommends. Also included are letters to Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Evans about a book gift.
Zettie M. Nebeker Kearl letter
The Zettie M. Nebeker Kearl letter [typewritten] was sent to Heber J. Grant and gives the history of John Nebeker's activities in southern Utah and requesting that a marker be erected to honor him.
Scott G. Kenney collection
The Scott G. Kenney collection (1820-1984) reflects the research interests of Scott G. Kenney during the 1970s and early 1980s for a projected biography of Joseph F. Smith (1838-1901). The collection consists of typescripts made by Kenney, as well as photocopies of diaries and letters. Scott G. Kenney (b. 1946) is a historical researcher, a writer, and a musician.
