Abstract The Charles Cather letter (1870) consists of one three-page letter, in photograph format, from Cather to his sister, Jinnie Cather. Cather writes of his adventures prospecting through the "Western Wildes" of Wyoming, New Mexico, Colorado, and Kansas.
