Abstract The Bill Spencer photograph collection contains biathlon skiers, Bill Spencer on skis, 1930s-1940s and 1976, images were created from digital scans of 35 mm slides of a U.S. ski team, 1964 Olympic Biathlon Team, and two men working with a gun. The collection also contains personal photographs.

Abstract The William Spencer papers (1960-2000) contains a scrapbook, newsletter, and clippings documenting William Spencer's career as a University of Utah and United States ski racer and an Olympic biathlete. The materials also document the development of biathlon as an Olympic sport. Included is a photocopy of the book Biathlon by Arthur Stegen. Spencer is a biathlete, skier, and cyclist. In February 2000 he was inducted into the Biathlon Hall of Fame.
