Abstract The Edward R. Hogan papers (1974-1984) contain essays and pamphlets written by Hogan. The topics of the essays are the history of mathematics and such personalities as Orson Pratt, Theodore Strong, and William Lenhart. Also included are two booklets of speeches by nineteenth century LDS Church leaders on the Adam-God doctrine.

Bayard W. Mendenhall (1848-1944) was a Utah businessman and legislator.
