Abstract The Axel J. Andresen photograph collection consists of images of Axel Andresen ski jumping. Included are images relating to the 1952 Winter Olympic Games in Oslo, Norway.

Abstract The Axel J. Andresen scrapbooks (1930-1980) were compiled by Andresen documenting his involvement in competitive ski jumping. A native of Norway, Andresen came to Utah in 1912. He held most major jump titles between 1918 and 1927. He was a founding member of the Norwegian-American Athletic Club, which later became the Utah Ski Club. Andresen served as vice president of that organization in the 1930s.
