Abstract The Pat Shea papers (1976-1994) contain correspondence, fax transmissions, articles, newsletters, pamphlets, brochures, notebooks, legislation materials, U. S. Senate materials, term reports, and news clippings related to the politics of Utah and the United States. Shea graduated from Harvard Law School, practiced law and served as counsel to the Foreign Relations Committee in the U.S. Senate. He ran as the Democratic candidate for governor of Utah in 1992.
