Abstract The Alexander Baird autobiography was edited and arranged by his granddaughters Delores Hopkins Woodland and Marilyn Baird McArthur. Baird (1832-1915) was born in Paisley, Scotland. His autobiography narrates his sailing adventures around the globe, his conversion to the LDS Church, and life in Utah.
