Abstract The Archibald Gardner diary (1800s) consist of a typewritten transcription of Archibald Gardner's (1815-1857) short diary (14 pages). The diary gives an extensive genealogy of the Gardner family and their Scottish origins. Although brief, this account describes the daily trials and experiences of the early 1800s.
