The Mormon historians and historiography collection (1981-1984) consists of copies of articles written by LDS historians debating whether or not written LDS history should be "faith-promoting" or "objective."

Abstract The Mormonism collection (1854, 1933, 1981-1985) consists of research papers, correspondence, transcripts,and clippings concerning various controversies in the LDS Church. Materials concern theological topics, particularly the Adam-God theory, historical questions, obedience to authority, and the treatment of scholars.
