The 10th Mountain Division Association was an alpine infantry division formed during World War II for service in Italian campaigns. The records (1948-1993) contain magazines, a poster, newsletters, brochures, and a history related to the activities of the 10th Mountain Division and of the association of division veterans.

James John "Jim" Sawdey (1916-1999) served in the 87th Infantry Regiment and the 10th Mountain Division during World War II. This collection contains two photograph albums documenting his training in the United States Army ski troops. It also documents the 10th Mountain Division's participation in the Italian Campaign circa 1944-19245.

Lavern O. Trepp (1917-2005) was an American skier and United States Army veteran who served in the 10th Mountain Division during World War II. After his military service, Trepp acquired the Pine Mountain Alpine Ski area in Iron Mountain, Michigan. This collection contains home movies of Trepp's military service and training and his family.
