Ouray Indian School photograph collection

Abstract The Ouray Indian School in Randlett, Utah was operated by the United States government to reeudicate children from the Uncompahgre (Tabeguache) and White River Ute bands from 1883 to 1905 when it was merged with the Uintah Boarding School in Whiterocks, Utah. This collection consists of 3 black-and-white photographs of Ute children and a woman on the grounds of the school in 1905.
