Abstract

The Church of the Firstborn of the Fulness of Times is a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints fundamentalist sect headquartered in northern Mexico that was founded in 1955 by Joel LeBaron and members of his family. This letter (1963) is a photocopy of a circular letter signed by Verlan M. LeBaron proposing peace with the faction of the church under the leadership of Ervil M. LeBaron which it accuses of being responsible for murder and arson.

The George L. Dockstader papers (1843-2001) consist of biographical materials, documents, correspondence, meeting minutes, reports, publications, and books. The bulk of the papers focuses upon correspondence, publications, and assorted materials pertaining to the ideas and activities of Mormon fundamentalists, particularly the Le Baron-led Church of the Firstborn of the Fulness of Times.

George LeRoy Dockstader was involved in Mormon fundamentalism in the twentieth century and was an early member of the Church of the Firstborn of the Fulness of Times, formed by Joel LeBaron and his family. The George LeRoy Dockstader photograph collection contains images of Dockstader's family and friends, and photos related to the military, farming, vacations, and Salt Lake City.
