Vern Adix papers
The Vern Adix papers (1900-1983) consist of stage designs, elevations, programs, news clippings, scrapbook and personal notes about Adix's involvement with various plays throughout his theatrical career. Also included are five published textbooks and eighteen plays he adapted for children.
Vern Adix photograph collection
The Vern Adix photograph collection contains photographs and slides of plays either designed or directed by Vern Adix. Materials can be found on productions held at Kingsbury Hall, Pioneer Memorial Theater, and Rice Stadium, as well as productions of the Afternoon Players.
William Scott Barber photograph collection
William Scott “Bill” Barber (1944-2007) was a theater technical director who taught lighting, makeup, sound, and set design at the University of Utah in the 1970s before working for Walt Disney Enterprises and other California companies in the 1980s and early 1990s. This collection contains photographs of stage productions in Utah that Barber worked on in the 1970s.

Claude Johnson was a photographer for Deseret News for 33 years from approximately 1947 to 1980. This collection contains 61 black-and-white negatives of photographs taken by Johnson of the University of Utah campus in the 1970s.

The Nancy Melich papers (1920-2009) consist of correspondence, theatre reviews, interviews, article drafts, playbills, and theatre perephernalia from her career as a theatre critic for the Salt Lake Tribune. Melich's career spanned nearly 30 years, and she was influential in Utah's local theatre scene.

Nancy Melich was the theatre critic for the Salt Lake Tribune for nearly 30 years. This colleciton contains approximately 1,500 images related to Broadway, off Broadway, and Utah theatre collected by Melich over the course of her career, with the bulk of the images dating from 1980-1999.
Pioneer Memorial Theater collection
The Pioneer Memorial Theater collection (1935-2011) consists mainly of theater programs and announcements for productions performed at the theater. Pioneer Memorial Theater, originally a replica of the old Salt Lake Theater, was completed in 1962 on the University of Utah campus. In addition to the programs, the collection also contains certificates, news clippings, posters, and unidentified set designs.
